Česká televize (Czech pronunciation: [ˈtʃɛskaː ˈtɛlɛvɪzɛ], abbreviation: ČT, English: Czech Television) is a public television broadcaster in the Czech Republic, broadcasting seven channels. It is the successor to Czechoslovak Television, founded in 1953
