.red is a Russian TV channel owned by Media-Telekom, a joint venture between National Media Group and Rostelecom. Originally launched in 2007 as Sony Entertainment Television, it later rebranded to Sony Channel, and then to .red on 24 June 2021 after being sold by Sony Pictures Entertainment. On the same day, Sony Turbo and Sony Sci-fi rebranded to .black and .sci-fi respectively.
