ATV-0 Melbourne began transmission on 1 August 1964. It was allocated the '0' signal due to TV sets in regional Victoria already receiving GLV-10. The callsign stood for "Austarama Television Victoria".

ATV-10 Melbourne
1980–1984
On 17 January 1980, regional station GLV-10 Gippsland moved to channel 8, thus allowing ATV Melbourne to change frequencies from 0 to 10 three days later. This logo was used to signify the new channel. By the end of 1981 Rupert Murdoch had finally received approval for control of ATV-10. SAS-10 Adelaide would also use this logo briefly in 1984.
