The 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup was the third edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup, the global championship for women's national association football teams, held in eight cities across the U.S. from June 19 to July 10, 1999.

The defending champions were Norway, who won the 1995 tournament. The tournament was won by hosts the United States, beating China in Rose Bowl, Pasadena, California, on July 10, 1999.
