The 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup was the fourth edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup, the global championship for women's national association football teams, held in six cities across the U.S. from September 20 to October 12, 2003. It was originally planned to held in China, but moved to United States due to the risk of SARS Pandemic. It was also the only FIFA Women's World Cup to be held continuously in a single country.

The defending champions were the United States, who won the 1999 tournament at home, and were the third place in this tournament. The tournament was won by Germany, beating Sweden in Home Depot Center, Carson, California on October 12, 2003.
