2015–2019[]
The 2019 Rugby World Cup debuted a new format for the tournament logo, following and consistent with the rebranding of the International Rugby Board to World Rugby. The new logos take the form of the board's new emblem with symbols of the host nation embedded within. The logo for the 2019 tournament includes a light blue plain representing the open sky behind Mt Fuji and the rising sun of the Japanese flag.
