Saudi Arabia was the only candidate in the bidding process for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup. Uzbekistan were also bidding, but rescinded their efforts on December 16, 2020. The host will be announced in February 2023 in Manama, Bahrain. Iran withdrawn their bid on 13 October 2022. Qatar withdrawn their bid on 17 October 2022 following their successful 2023 bid. India withdrawn its bid on 5 December 2022 due to India focus on building proper football structure meaning that Saudi Arabia was awarded on 1 February 2023 in Manama, Bahrain.
2023-2025 (Interim)[]
The bidding nation mark was removed and the "Saudi Arabia" name was added below 2027 following their successful bid.
