21st Century Fox

On June 28, 2013, News Corporation was split into two companies: News Corp and 21st Century Fox, the latter of which became the owner of the assets of News Corporation.

On December 14, 2017, The Walt Disney Company announced its intent to acquire 21st Century Fox for $52 billion after Comcast withdrew the deal on December 11, citing antitrust issues. Some of 21CF's assets that are not acquired by Disney have been split into the Fox Corporation (which was informally the "New Fox" at the time). Disney and Fox shareholders approved the acquisition on July 27, 2018 with the deal being completed on March 20, 2019.
