21st Century Fox

On June 28, 2013, News Corporation was split into two companies: News Corp and 21st Century Fox, the latter of which became the owner of the assets of News Corporation.

On December 14, 2017, The Walt Disney Company announced its intent to acquire 21st Century Fox for $52 billion after Comcast withdrew the deal on December 11, citing antitrust issues. The assets not acquired by Disney would be spun off into the new Fox Corporation. Disney and Fox shareholders approved the acquisition on July 27, 2018, and the deal was completed on March 20, 2019.
