2013–2019

21st Century Fox

On June 28, 2013, News Corporation splits into two companies; the present-day News Corp and 21st Century Fox, the latter of which became the owner of the assets of News Corporation.

On December 14, 2017, The Walt Disney Company announced its intent to acquire the company for $52 billion after Comcast withdrew the deal on December 11, citing antitrust issues. The assets that were not acquired by Disney have been split into the Fox Corporation (which was informally the "New Fox" at the time). On July 27, 2018, Disney and Fox shareholders approved the acquisition and then the deal was completed on March 20, 2019.
