4seven launched on 4 July 2012 and was commonly stylized as 47; the 47 referring to the channel showing a best of Channel 4 programmes over the last 7 days, and also channel's place on the Freeview EPG at the time of when the channel launched. This would only be used for idents and break bumpers.

2018–present

On 27 September 2018, Channel 4's multi channels rebranded with 4seven incorporating the Channel 4 logo. The logo has a cyan 7 placed next to the Channel 4 logo; however, despite the rebrand, the idents remained the same on 4seven.
