On May 10, 2019, MCOT Public Company Limited notified the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) that its board of directors had approved the decision to request the cancellation of its digital television broadcasting license from the Office of the Broadcasting Commission, Television Business, and the National Telecommunications Commission. As a result, the MCOT Family 14 channel ceased broadcasting on September 16, 2019.

MCOT Family was the lowest-performing Digital TV channel in terms of revenue, generating a total of 157 million baht over its 5 years and 167 days of operation. Its highest rating was 0.029 in 2018, while its lowest rating was 0.006 in 2014.
