9XM is one of the most popular Hindi music channels in India, airing popular Hindi film music. It is the flagship channel of 9X Media (originally INX Media) and has several sister channels such as 9X Jalwa, 9X Tashan and 9X Jhakaas.
Its competitors include MTV Beats, Zoom, Music India, Mastiii, B4U Music and ShowBox Channel, among others, and formerly Channel V, Sony Mix and Zee ETC Bollywood.
