ABBA is a Swedish band formed in 1972, that become famous after winning the 1974 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Waterloo". The name of the band comes from the initials of the band's members, Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.
