In 1990, the Christian Broadcasting Network spun-off The CBN Family Channel into a separate company known as International Family Entertainment (IFE).

Fox Family Worldwide[]

1998–2001[]

In 1998, after the News Corporation purchased IFE, the company merged with Fox Kids Worldwide, its joint venture with Saban Entertainment to form Fox Family Worldwide. That same year, the IFE and MTM Enterprises television programming archives were transferred from FFW to 20th Century Fox Television.

2001–2003[]

In 2001, a year after The Walt Disney Company purchased Fox Family Worldwide, the company was integrated into the ABC Group and was renamed to ABC Family Worldwide. By this point, the company served as the legal operating entity for the ABC Family channel, which would be rebranded to Freeform in 2016.

¹	WFDF was originally in the Flint radio market before moving to Farmington Hills in the Detroit radio market in 2006. As a result of the station's move to Detroit, WFRO in the Toledo market as well as another station in Northern Michigan (also on 900) were taken off the air to allow WFDF to increase its broadcast power.
²	Disney/ABC never owned the station, but operated it under a Local Marketing Agreement. Birach Broadcasting has since taken complete, outright control of the station.
