ABV-2 Melbourne began transmission on 19 November 1956. This logo was used in articles promoting the launch of the channel.

In order to accomodate FM radio, ABRV-3 moved to VHF-11 sometime around 1991. It would move again in 2000 to UHF-42 in order to accomodate digital television in Melbourne.
