On 1990, Jusco changed its group name to AEON (stylized as ÆON) and the corporate name itself changed in 2001 to ÆON Co., Ltd. It was retained the old name on its retail stores in Japan until 2011 and Malaysia until 2012.

The name finally retired on March 1st 2013 as Jusco in Mainland China and Hong Kong were rebranded to ÆON.
