The ARD-Mittagsmagazin is an informational programme, which was first broadcast on 2 October 1989. The programme is broadcast on ARD and ZDF simultaneously.

This programme alternates with its counterpart from the ZDF, also called the Mittagsmagazin, on a weekly basis.

The programme started in 1989 with this logo. It was produced from the studios of Bayerischer Rundfunk in Munich.

1997–2004[]

In 1997, the logo changed to a design in line with the main evening news.

2004–2012[]

This logo introduced the "Circle 1 Trademark" in the top right corner, it is also the only one since the 1997 rebrand to not use the "TheSans" font.

This is the last logo used by the Munich-based Mittagsmagazin.

2018–2023[]

Starting in 2018, the Mittagsmagazin was broadcast from Berlin. This is shown by the i in the "magazin" part of the logo being replaced by a long rectangle that is broken up by a ring in the upper half, which is a reference to the Berlin Television Tower.

In that time period, it was produced by Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg.

2024–present[]

ARD Mittagsmagazin 2024

Since 2024, the ARD-Mittagsmagazin is produced by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk.
