AT&T Mexico is the third major Mexican telecommunications company and mobile operator, after the two incumbent companies, Telcel/Telmex (owned by homegrown company América Móvil) and Movistar (owned by Telefónica of Spain). It was formed in 2015 by the merger of Iusacell and Nextel after the American conglomerate AT&T acquired Iusacell from Grupo Salinas and introduced its own brand.
2015–present[]
Since its inception in 2015, AT&T Mexico has used AT&T’s flat globe logo, introduced the same year.
