Asia Television Limited is a digital media company (and formerly a free-to-air television channel) in Hong Kong; launched on May 29, 1957 as Rediffusion Television, ATV became the world's first Chinese-language television station, and the first in Hong Kong. RTV started free-to-air broadcasting on November 30, 1973 and was renamed to Asia Television on September 24, 1982, and continued to air until its license expired on April 1, 2016. ATV operated two main over-the-air channels: ATV Home and ATV World.

On April 1, 2015, Hong Kong’s Executive Council gave ATV a one-year notice that its terrestrial television license - which was due to expire on 30 November 2015 - would not be renewed; on March 4, 2016, the station ceased broadcasting and filed for bankruptcy.
