AXN was the only English entertainment channel of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN). Its launch was announced in October 1998[1] and it was launched in January 1999.[2] It competed with Star World, Zee Café, Colors Infinity, Comedy Central and Disney International HD, and formerly FX.
On 31 May 2020, SPN announced that AXN and AXN HD would shut down on 30 June 2020.[3] This comes after several other channels of the broadcaster were shut down on 31 December 2018 and 30 March 2020.

AXN India introduced AXN’s 2015 logo on 24 January 2016. It introduced the slogan Live R.E.D., which was used only by the Indian AXN, and lasted until the channel shut down on 30 June 2020.

Launched on 6 April 2015. This logo was not used by any other version of AXN worldwide.
