The original Air France's Hippocampe Ailé icon was debut on 1933 and served as Air France's main logo until 1975. The icon was reused since 2019 as Air France's secondary icon, and replaced all 2004 icon on aircraft engine since then.

A updated version of Hippocampe Ailé icon was introduced alone with Air France's 1975 identity.
1994–2004[]
The 1975 Hippocampe Ailé icon was modified in 1994, following the launch of Groupe Air France, the one processor of today's Air France-KLM.
2004–2019[]
A modified version of 1933 icon with smaller Hippocampe Ailé symbol was debut in 2004 following the merger between Air France and KLM. It was painted on all Air France's aircraft engine between 2004 to 2019.
2009–2019[]
