In 2018, Chief Executive Officer of the Radio and Television Corporation, Daoud bin Abdulaziz Al-Sharyan announced the merging of Ajyal Channel and its employees with (SBC) channel as of July 23, 2018, with the aim of developing and updating its program content in line with the process of developing the form and content existing in all media arms of the Radio and Television Authority.
