All Nippon Airways (ANA) is Japan's largest airline by fleet size and passengers carried, ahead of the nation's only other full-service airline, the national carrier Japan Airlines. In October 1999 it joined the Star Alliance.

In 1986, one year after Japan Government lift international routes for domestic airlines following the diplomatic relations between Japan and China normalized, All Nippon Airways gives its logo minor update to adapting the globalization in the same year.

In early 2001, All Nippon Airways full simplified its English name to just ANA, one year later, the Japanese name logo used since 1958 has completely dropped.

On November 10, 2009, ANA introduced the slogan "Inspiration of JAPAN", which used as its International flight concept.
