1991–1999

In 1991, Alliance UniChem Group purchased Moss Chemists and has since become a member of the group.

Moss Pharmacy

1999–2005

In 1999, the word "Chemists" was dropped from the name and was renamed to Moss Pharmacy. At that time, most branches were renovated and refurbished, and a small number of photo processing centres within some refurbished branches became Fujifilm digital imaging centres (as this was the case for the branch in Holywell).

Vertical version, as seen on shop front signage on some branches, as well as some TV adverts that promoted pharmaceutical items.

Alliance Pharmacy

2005–2009

Moss Pharmacy became Alliance Pharmacy in 2005, and merged with Boots to form Alliance Boots the following year. Most Alliance Pharmacy branches were converted into Boots pharmacies by the end of 2009, while others were either closed or relocated.

However, despite the rename, a small number of branches kept the Moss Pharmacy/Chemists branding. On some branches that received the Alliance Pharmacy branding, the hanging signs which featured the cross emblem in old Moss Pharmacy colours with "PHARMACY" in blue capital letters underneath were kept in tandem with the new shop front sign featuring this logo.
