In September 1991, all Skaggs Alpha Beta stores were renamed under the Jewel Osco banner. All would soon be sold to Albertsons within half a year.

Despite being used on new store signage beginning in early 1988, this logo did not appear in advertising until September 1990. In 1995, Alpha Beta was sold to Ralphs.
