The design introduced in 1980. The mammoth was removed in 1982.
1991–1993[]

A short lived banner and crest logo, retaining the previous tagline 'Where Wonders Never Cease'.
1994–2002[]

The roundel design featuring the Towers ruins icon first introduced in 1994, with the new tagline 'Where The Magic Never Ends'.
1998–2002[]

A 3D style revamp with an added bubble border. 'Tussaud's' was added to the banner in 2000.
2003–2007[]

A revamp with a new banner design, and the tagline removed. A new title font was introduced, which the park has retained since.
Alton Towers Resort[]
2008–2019[]
Following the acquisition by Merlin Entertainments in 2007, the logo was updated to remove 'Tussaud's' and the bubble was replaced with a golden border. The park also changed its name to Alton Towers Resort in early 2008, to better reflect its status as a multi-day destination.
2020–present[]
The logo was revamped to coincide with the park's 40th anniversary.
