- The company is named after Steven Spielberg's 1968 short film Amblin'.
- The logo doesn't appear on Schindler's List, instead having the words "From Amblin Entertainment" appear at the end of the closing credits; however, the print logo does appear on advertisements for the film.
- Elliott and E.T. (who are riding a bicycle) from the 1982 film, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial are the company's official mascots.
