On October 7, 2020, four decades after AIP was bought by and merged with Filmways, MGM announced that they were reviving the AIP brand as a label for films. The current 2021 logo reuses the old 'a' from the logos used from 1968 to 1980, but now the circle has been changed to a globe with the United States of America in the centre, also the letter 'I' and 'P' is added besides the 'a'.
