In 2015, Chevron sold their stake in the company.
Ampol (second era)[]
2020–present[]
In 2020, Caltex Australia will begin a major rebrand back to Ampol, after Chevron terminated their licencing agreement with the company. The rebrand by Sydney-based Houston Group will be gradually applied across its station network in about 3 years time and cost the company up to AUD$165 million.[1]
