Angry Birds Rio is a smartphone game developed by Rovio Entertainment and Blue Sky Studios.
In Spring 2020, Angry Birds Rio, along with many other Angry Birds games released before Angry Birds Transformers, were discontinued in order to focus on the newer titles. On February 3, 2020, its servers were shut down, due to the acquisition of Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios) by The Walt Disney Company likely making it costly to keep the game's servers active.
