Animax reverted back to the old logo last February 2013, with new look and new graphics. Following the government content restrictions, Animax Vietnam was closed in 2013, then relaunched in April 2020.Hong Kong feed has been replaced by Asia feed in May 2015.

On July 25, 2016, Animax was reformatted with the new look, same logo, new graphics and new anime programming lineup for the concede session works by popular demand before the final episode of In Search of the Lost Future and the premiere of Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA.
In the Philippines, Animax on Cignal was moved from Channel 34 to Channel 73 last December 19, 2016, nearly five (5) months later after the reformat.
