- Johan Ishak, also known as Joe Flizzow, and Mikael Adam Lozach, also known as SonaOne, won with their song "Apa Khabar", composed by the latter.
The theme for this edition is "Gema dalam Muzik" (Echoes in Music in Malay), which refers to the back to the basics of elements and essence of music. Also, the stylised "J" and "L" were somewhat noticeably larger than the oval.
