The original 2D logo and "Ini Rentak Kita" (This is Our Rhythm in Malay), the theme for this edition were unveiled on 4 February 2022, which is considerably late compared to earlier editions, with the 3D version of the former being introduced on 13 February.
This is the first edition to take place in Dewan Merdeka since Anugerah Juara Lagu 31.
