The Arla Cow (Swedish: Arla Ko) is a trademark used in Sweden by Arla Foods for its milk range. Prior to the creation of Arla Foods in 2000, it was used as the logo for the Swedish Arla company and its products.
The precursor to the Arla Cow was the MC Cow, which was used to symbolize Mjölkcentralen, the dairy association in Stockholm.
Several regional dairy associations merged with Mjölkcentralen during the early 1970s. In 1975, they took the Arla name. The cow was carried over as a logo for the company but was modernized. It would now carry the name of the company of its side.
