Parent Armour and Company became the Armour-Dial corporation in 1967.

Armour-Dial was acquired by the Greyhound Corporation. In 1985, Greyhound merged the newly-acquired household products division of Purex Industries with Armour-Dial's consumer goods division to form Dial Corporation. After Henkel acquired Dial Corp., Armour Star food products were sold to Pinnacle Foods in 2006.
