Astro Awani is a 24-hour Malaysian news television channel launched in Indonesia on 15 June 2006 and later in Malaysia on 6 September 2007. Astro Awani became the most watched news channel in Malaysia. It ceased transmission in Indonesia on 20 October 2008.
