Astro Kirana was an Astro-owned 24-hour Malaysian film channel that debuted on August 31, 2006, in tandem with Astro Aruna. Serving audiences in both Malaysia and Indonesia, the channel specialized in a mix of local and Asian cinema.
However, due to low viewership, it ceased transmissions on May 18, 2009, and was subsequently replaced by Astro Citra.
