Toward the end of the 2020 season, Tennis Australia and Clemenger BBDO launched a campaign branding the grand slam temporarily as australia is open. The campaign was created to advocate for the Australian tourism market after the peak of the Australian 2019/20 bushfires; a period of time where the nation was being perceived as "entirely on fire" and an unsafe destination.
