Avatar Studios

Nickelodeon's Avatar Studios (or simply Avatar Studios) is an American film and television division that is wholly-owned and operated by television network Nickelodeon. The division oversees development of television series and motion pictures set in the fictional shared universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender and its sequel The Legend of Korra and will have its content distributed by Paramount-owned platforms including Paramount+ and Nickelodeon as well as third-party platforms and theatrical release by Paramount Pictures. Its first project, an animated theatrical film, started production in 2021 and will be released in 2026.

Netflix's live-action series adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender was produced without the involvement of Avatar Studios.
