Prior to the formation of Ayala Land Premier, Ayala Land had Ayala Communities which, although not recognized as a company, was used as its brand for high-end residential developments. This was because Ayala Land, recognized as the pioneer in the high-end residential market in the Philippines, was handling the development and selling of units in high-end residential developments.

2006-present
In 2006, on the heels of Ayala Land's corporate rebranding, Ayala Land decided to pass on the development and selling of high-end residential developments to a new company. Thus, they retired the Ayala Communities brand and formed a new company for high-end residential developments that was named Ayala Land Premier.
