In January 2000, Caracol Radio is set to 97.1, replacing Radio Classica and renamed itself as Caracol Música.

Bésame Radio

2003-2008

In 2003, Caracol was relaunched as Bésame Radio. A radio station focused in romantic and ballad songs in Spanish and English. In January 1, 2007 the station was closed in Santiago de Chile, broadcasting only in provinces and online. A year later, in March 2008, Bésame was fully-closed and replaced in many locations with Radio Imagina, it natural succesor due the Iberoamerican Radio Chile and CRC merging.
