BBC North West is the BBC English Region serving Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, parts of North Yorkshire, parts of West Yorkshire, parts of Derbyshire, parts of Cumbria, and the Isle of Man. Responsible for BBC One North West, as well as local radio stations: BBC Radio Lancashire, BBC Radio Manchester, and BBC Radio Merseyside. Defunct services include BBC Two North West.

BBC North West was created in 1969 from part of the BBC North region. It is based in Salford, near Manchester. In 1990, it was merged back into BBC North before reverting back to BBC North West in 1996.
