In 1988, BBC Video changed their logo to a globe running around (based on BBC One's 'COW' ident), with "BBC Video" underneath. The on-screen logo had it start out as a flat map, before transforming into a globe.
1991–1997[]
Just a few years after BBC changed their logo, the video division introduced this logo.
Idents featuring on videos often refer to the BBC only henceforward.
1997–2006[]
In 1997, coinciding with the new BBC logo, the BBC Video logo was changed yet again.
In September 2004, BBC Video merged with Video Collection International to form 2 Entertain, with VCI's legal name becoming 2 Entertain Video. 2 Entertain would distribute BBC content on video and DVD from 2005 until 2012 (Initially excluding children's programmes, music and educational products until 2010).
