The channel started broadcasting on March 27, 2022[1] at 12 NN (JST), and primarily airs general entertainment programming. The channel is owned by the Japanet Broadcasting, a subsidiary of Japanet Holdings.
BS10[]
2025–present[]
On August 24, 2024, Japanet Holdings (which owns the channel) and Star Channel (formerly owned by Tohokushinsha Film Corporation until May 2024 and now part of Japanet Holdings) announced that it will rename BS Japanext and Star Channel to BS10 and BS10 Star Channel, repectively. This took effect on 10 January 2025.[2]
