BTVI (Business Television India) was a business news channel in India. Launched in 2008 as UTVi by UTV Software Communications , it was renamed several times—to Bloomberg UTV in 2010 and then to Bloomberg TV India in 2012—before Bloomberg exited the channel in 2016, when it was renamed to BTVi (the letter I was capitalised later).
BTVI ceased broadcasting on 31 August 2019 due to financial difficulties. This leaves the English-language business news channel market in India with CNBC-TV18 , NDTV Profit and ET Now .
