BTVI (Business Television India) was a business news channel in India. Launched in 2008 as UTVi by UTV Software Communications, it was renamed several times—to Bloomberg UTV in 2010 and then to Bloomberg TV India in 2012—before Bloomberg exited the channel in 2016, when it was renamed to BTVi (the letter I was capitalised later).
BTVI ceased broadcasting on 31 August 2019 due to financial difficulties. This leaves the English-language business news channel market in India with CNBC-TV18, NDTV Profit and ET Now.
