Badgerline was originally a large national bus operator in England and Wales, originating as a privatised part of the Bristol Omnibus Company. Badgerline subsequently became Badgerline Holdings, who then bought other bus operators throughout England and Wales, renaming themselves to Badgerline Group in 1993 and subsequently mergimg with the GRT Group in 1995 to become First. The original Bristol operations continued to trade under the Badgerline name until 2003 when Badgerline and Southern National merged to become First Somerset & Avon.

The Badgerline name was revived in 2018 by First West of England for services operating in the Somerset town of Weston-super-Mare.
