Banco León was a Dominican bank founded in 2003 in Santo Domingo as a union between the Banco Profesional and Banco Nacional de Credito (Bancredito), two of their financial entities were on bankruptcy following the 2003 Dominican financial crisis. The bank was operated under the Leon Jimenez Group, Ltd until 2012.
