Banco Nacional de Panama is one of the first panamanian banks which was founded in October 12, 1904 as Banco Hipotecario y Prendario after enacting the Law No. 74 from June 13 of the same year (six months after the birth of the republic of Panama). The logo's main symbol is based from its current building that is located at Vía España since the move on February 24, 1978.
