BandNews was the second news only channel in Brazil, and its innovation was that there were no programmes and everything was a single news program, updated every 15 minutes.

The logo was changed to a rounded rectangle with white and blue colors.

A variation with "BAND" in black was used.

Together with Band, BandNews FM and Band Sports, BandNews TV changed its font to Helvetica Extended Black.

In 2019 the logo was simplified to be just the text "BAND NEWS", and it was no longer italic.

In 2024; the channel adopted for the first time its full name - BandNews TV, instead of just BandNews - on their logo, as part of a closer synergy with its radio network counterpart, BandNews FM (though the name "BandNews TV" has been verbally used on-air since the launch of the radio network).
